Well... it is really a surprise to open your yahoo mail on a valentine's day evening and notice a cute option "Autocompose a Valentine", which generates an auto email with a lovely love note. This was least expected from a company that was being written of by industry experts. Although, it is a small novelty from Yahoo engineers, which was created as a valentine day's special, but it has a hidden message and the message is that Yahoo is getting back in shape.
It really might have caught the average Yahoo users by surprise to see a tiny heart beating, beside the compose mail option, it definitely had put a smile on my face. Hats off to the team at Yahoo for creating something nice and noticeable since the ages of Yahoo Games and Yahoo Chat. I am sure that things are going to change for Yahoo soon and the company would be back to where it was few years ago. I am sure Yahoo is better off in the hands of Marissa Mayer, the new CEO of Yahoo, she will definitely change things around for Yahoo.
Earlier, we have seen the revamped Yahoo Mail, which provides an improved service offering and we have also heard new about Yahoo and Yelp partnership, which has caught attention of technology enthusiasts, a few more months and we would again be ranting about Yahoo and its popularity.
